M&T Bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Senior Associate in New York, NY to assess and manage credit risk for commercial clients. You will partner with relationship managers to underwrite new requests, monitor portfolios, and ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, performing cash flow and covenant analyses, and presenting creditworthiness for loan structures.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Ability to calculate and interpret financial ratios and trend analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial software may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and analyze commercial loan requests from deal screen through approval and life of loan.
• Monitor ongoing credit risk of portfolios through CCM activities including annual reviews and covenant monitoring.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, due diligence reports, appraisals and industry data to assess credit quality.
• Prepare independent credit quality assessments with risk ratings, risks, mitigants and trends.
