Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; 7 years of complex credit underwriting experience, or 11 years combined higher education and work experience with relevant underwriting background.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong financial modeling and credit transaction analysis.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new requests and material modifications from deal screen through approval and for the life of the loan.
• Conduct ongoing credit risk monitoring and CCM activities; identify emerging risk and assign risk ratings.
• Prepare independent credit quality assessments with risks, mitigants, and market trends.
• Propose loan structure recommendations based on base, downside, and scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with RMs and risk officers to maintain timely and accurate risk ratings across portfolios.
• Lead client/prospect discussions to understand business and credit needs; present analyses and recommendations.
