M&T Bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Senior Associate to assess and manage credit risk for commercial clients within the Corporate Banking Financial Institutional Group. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; 5 years’ experience in commercial credit, or 9 years combined education/experience.
• Significant experience in large corporate financial institutions or counterparty credit underwriting and analysis; insurance/statutory accounting a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis of credit metrics; ability to calculate and interpret financial ratios.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and execute transactions from deal screen through approval and life of loan.
• Monitor ongoing credit risk of portfolios via annual reviews, covenant monitoring, and early warning indicators.
• Prepare cash flow, collateral schedules, and financial models; develop risk ratings and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with relationship managers to structure loans and recommendations on terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements; present analyses to committees.
