Canto is seeking a Commercial Counsel to design and operate a modern in-house legal function. You will lead end‑to‑end contracting for customers and vendors, leveraging AI tools and CLM systems to accelerate deals while safeguarding the business.

You will partner with Sales, Finance, Security, and executives to align privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements across US and EU operations. JD and bar membership are required, with 5–8 years SaaS experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• 5–8 years of legal experience in SaaS or technology.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial SaaS agreements (MSAs, DPAs, NDAs).
• Working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and related privacy regs.
• Ability to build processes and legal infrastructure in a scaling environment.

• Scale contracting operations with AI-enabled processes and templates.
• Manage vendor relationships, privacy, and governance across geographies.
