Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Counsel specializing in Commercial Transactions in Irvine, CA. The role will manage a high-volume portfolio of domestic and international agreements affecting sourcing, engineering, marketing, and sales operations.

You will draft and negotiate complex contracts, provide strategic legal counsel to senior management, and work cross-functionally to ensure compliance and timely negotiation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall legal experience with 8+ years in commercial matters
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills for complex commercial agreements
• Experience advising corporate clients in transactional settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration across levels
• In-house experience at a semiconductor/tech company is a plus
• Experience handling audits and cross-border transactions

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial attorney for assigned business functions, managing domestic and international transactions from review through post-signing support
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements including customer, supply, licensing, SaaS, and NDAs
• Develop negotiation strategies and communicate legal risks to stakeholders
• Coordinate with local counsel on cross-border and policy compliance
• Advise senior management with proactive strategic counsel on business and legal risks
• Support M&A and integration efforts and contribute to contracting process improvement
