Job summary

Skyway Concession Company, LLC is seeking a General Counsel to serve as the company’s principal legal advisor and a key member of leadership. This role negotiates complex contracts and guides governance, regulatory compliance and risk management in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Collaborative approach to counseling business clients.
• Strong communication and credibility across organization.
• Experience supporting compliance, governance, risk management, or operations.
• Exposure to regulated industries (infrastructure, transportation, etc.) is valued.
• Labor, insurance, and enterprise risk management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to executive leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of significant commercial agreements, including financing, operational, and vendor contracts.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters within a highly regulated operating environment.
• Support governance initiatives and strengthen compliance and enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Provide guidance on labor and employment issues, including matters involving unionized workforces.
• Partner with finance and operations leaders on insurance, risk allocation, and business strategy.
• Manage outside counsel relationships and legal spend as needed.
• Participate in key business discussions and provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice.
