Rocket Software is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the Americas sales organization, providing strategic legal advice on commercial agreements and technology transactions. The role collaborates with internal teams and external customers to ensure compliant and favorable business outcomes.

Ideal candidates have strong drafting and negotiation skills, experience with technology licensing, data protection laws, and international transactions, and can operate autonomously in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Jurisprudence and contract law proficiency.
Ability to draft, review and negotiate IT and software agreements.
Experience with data protection, export controls and anti-corruption laws.

Responsibilities

Structure, draft and negotiate commercial agreements including direct sales and partner deals.
Provide legal advice to Sales and business units on risk and compliance.
Advise on complex deal structures, IP, procurement and technology transactions.
