Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to lead strategic buy-side transactions and disputes across technology development, manufacturing, and capex. You will partner with cross-functional teams to structure agreements, negotiate terms, and scale contract management processes as the company grows Terran R.

The role requires a JD, bar admission, 5+ years post‑JD experience including law firm work, and a proven ability to translate legal risk into business

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• 5+ years of post‑JD experience, including 2+ years at a law firm.
• Deep experience in commercial transactions (supplier contracts, technology agreements, manufacturing, or service contracts).
• Ability to lead high‑stakes negotiations and handle disputes with business impact.

Responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate buy-side commercial transactions and related agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for technology development, manufacturing, and capex.
• Provide strategic counsel translating legal complexity into clear business guidance.
• Develop and scale negotiation standards and dispute‑resolution playbooks.
• Manage post‑contract risks and disputes in partnership with stakeholders.
