Rocket Software is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the Americas sales organization, providing strategic legal advice and handling revenue-generating activities. You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements and advise on licensing, data protection and compliance matters.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with executives and partners, handling complex IT contracts and ensuring adherence to relevant laws while enabling business growth.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. with bar admission in at least one US state.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a law firm and in-house positions.
• Experience in software/high-technology industries.
• Experience in international transactions.
• Experience with technology sales, licensing, procurement and related IT contracts.

• Structure, draft and negotiate commercial agreements including direct sales and partner agreements.
• Provide legal support to management and business units on applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, export controls and anti-corruption laws.
