Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and 5+ years in commercial, infrastructure, real estate, energy, or related practice.
• Active bar membership in good standing with ability to practice in DC, MD, or VA.
• Strong commercial contracting and legal advisory experience in complex industries.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements supporting utility operations, engineering, construction, procurement, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice balancing risk management with operational objectives.
• Support infrastructure and growth projects with guidance on commercial, real estate, and land use matters.
• Partner with stakeholders across engineering, construction, procurement, real estate, compliance, and regulatory teams.
• Contribute to emerging areas like infrastructure modernization, renewable natural gas initiatives, and large customer developments.
