Job summary

The PeterSan Group and PeterSan Legal Staffing seeks an Associate General Counsel to advise on drafting and negotiating EPC, procurement, and services agreements in support of LNG export facilities and natural gas pipelines. The role may be located in Houston or the Washington, DC area.

Ideal candidates bring 7–15 years of experience in big law and in-house practice, with a strong academic background, and a track record handling large energy infrastructure transactions.

Qualifications

• Seven to fifteen years of experience in large law firms and in-house counsel.
• Experience drafting and negotiating construction, procurement, and related agreements for large energy projects, preferably LNG facilities.
• Strong academic record from top schools.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate EPC, procurement, and services agreements for energy projects.
• Advise on corporate and transactional matters related to project development.
• Support negotiation of purchase orders and related procurement contracts.
• Assist with other corporate and transactional matters as needed.

Our client, a leader in the LNG space, is seeking an Associate General Counsel to advise the company on drafting and negotiating a wide range of engineering, procurement and construction agreements, procurement contracts, purchase orders and services agreements to support the development, design, engineering, procurement and construction of export facilities and associated natural gas pipelines, as well as assist with other corporate and transactional matters.This role could be located either in Houston or the Washington, DC area.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to guide and contribute to some of the largest and most-capital intensive energy infrastructure projects worldwide.
