Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a Counsel or Senior Counsel – Commercial to support the General Counsel in procuring and contracting matters, including trade, antitrust, privacy, IP and ESG initiatives. You will coordinate with the Legal team to ensure compliant, strategic guidance across domestic and international operations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years for Counsel; 10+ years for Senior Counsel; experience with transactional matters for corporations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, review, draft and advise company on contracts, including purchase and supply agreements.
• Oversee contract management system and enforce related policies.
• Provide strategic legal advice on transactional issues under Georgia and Federal law, with international context.
• Support procurement and related initiatives.
• Draft memoranda to GC and executives on legal topics.
