Job summary

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is seeking a Corporate Counsel for the Commercial Affairs Group to resolve complex legal issues related to the company’s and its subsidiaries’ business activities in the United States.

The role focuses on contract drafting, commercial transactions, and providing practical legal advice across a broad range of corporate matters, with expectation of strong negotiation and communication skills and experience in top-tier law firms or equivalent corporate settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Juris Doctor degree.
• 7-10 years of combined top-tier law firm and corporate experience.
• Admission to State Bar, preferably Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Draft, analyze, and negotiate contracts to protect Mercedes-Benz’s legal and business interests across customer, vendor, trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
• Provide legal guidance on a broad range of corporate matters and internal policies; identify legal risks and assist with day-to-day issues.
• Support complex business transactions, including contract interpretation, meetings, communications, and dispute resolution.
