Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on multiple projects in Austin. You will manage administrative tasks, scheduling, safety, and cost control from day one.

You will coordinate subcontractors, review shop drawings, and keep the project team informed of progress and issues, upholding ARCO's commitment to quality, safety, and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience, with at least 5 of those years as a project lead Superintendent
• Computer skills: proficiency in using Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning before construction
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and within the allotted time schedule
• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to integrate it with project schedules and progress
• Inform all supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes
• Assist in the preparation of all job progress and cost reports to reflect actual costs
• Cooperate with the owner and representatives, and with architects or owner representatives
