Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager in Richmond, VA to lead large-scale projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role focuses on budgets, schedules, and financial performance while coordinating with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field leadership.

You will drive project delivery, enforce safety standards, manage multiple projects, and mentor team members in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Management or related field; preferred/required as specified by the employer.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager.
• Experience on projects valued at $20M+ and with GC/CM firms.
• Strong background in project accounting, budgeting, and documentation management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam; experience with scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with Project Superintendent and construction team.
• Oversee project finances, budgets, and contract documentation.
• Prepare and monitor construction schedules with Superintendents and subs.
• Develop and manage project budgets; monitor RFIs, RFPs, and change orders.
• Prepare owner payment applications and maintain administrative logs.
• Lead safety standards and mentor project team; manage multiple projects.
