Job summary

MPI is seeking a Project Manager for large-scale commercial construction in Richmond, VA. You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall financial performance.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery, drive planning and risk management, and mentor teams to promote collaboration and high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience managing large commercial construction projects with multimillion-dollar budgets.
• Experience across sectors like data centers, higher education, healthcare, multifamily, or industrial.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and construction operations knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through closeout on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive project planning, risk management, and problem-solving to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, forecasting, and change management processes.
• Mentor field and project teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Support business growth initiatives and develop strong relationships with clients and project partners.
