Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Commercial Project Manager to join our national ENR-ranked team. This permanent role requires a deep understanding of budgets, contract negotiations, and team leadership to deliver complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will manage budgets, procurement, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring on-time delivery and profitability while leading high-performing project teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of PM experience in commercial construction.
• Proven budgeting, negotiation, and estimating expertise.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans and coordinate with teams to meet schedule and budget.
• Lead client, supplier, and subcontractor negotiations for best terms.
• Create and manage budgets with cost-control measures.
• Provide leadership to project teams for high performance.
• Oversee procurement to ensure timely, on-budget materials.
• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for clients.
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks and issues.
• Maintain clear documentation of all activities.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders.
