Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for Commercial Construction in the United States (Virginia) to lead preconstruction, scheduling, budget management and project controls. The role oversees all project life-cycle stages and requires strong leadership, budgeting, and change-order management.

Salary ranges from $85,000 to $140,000 per year with DOE incentives. This on-site role offers a competitive benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost scheduling, RFI, subcontract administration, scheduling and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from conception to closure.
• Manage project budget and cost schedule to deliver on time and within budget.
• Prepare and submit RFIs, ensuring queries are answered promptly.
• Administer and manage subcontracts in accordance with policy.
• Oversee construction closeout, ensure documentation is submitted and approved.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and communicate delays or changes.
• Manage and document change orders through approval and implementation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Identify risks and resolve issues or conflicts that arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
