The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communications with Accounts Payable and Accounting, and collaboration with Sales, Billing, and Credit teams. You will use AI and automation tools to streamline research and documentation, handle disputes, and document steps.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years in commercial collections.
• Ability to resolve issues with little oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Plan, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities.

Mansioni

• Communicate clearly to billing and account inquiries, clarify balances and requirements, and resolve payment barriers.
• Contact customers daily to address past-due balances, document commitments, and confirm next steps.
• Analyze past-due accounts and coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve disputes and secure payment.
• Document account contact, follow-up details, disputes, commitments, and resolution steps per department procedures.
• Work declined credit cards, security deposits, prepay and unapplied cash applications, tax discrepancies and invoice delivery instructions.
• Partner with Billing to submit portal invoices, correct errors, monitor status, and resolve payment delays.
• Provide assistance to team members and department as needed.
• Provide customer status updates to Sales and Credit teams for new orders as needed.
• Work closely with manager on customer account escalations.
• Use approved AI and automation tools to improve research, communication, documentation, and portfolio efficiency.
