ERGO NEXT is seeking a seasoned Claims Specialist to act as a subject matter expert in the Claims department. You will handle high-severity commercial claims, lead department roundtables, and support peers with guidance and experience.

The role requires a BS/BA, 10+ years in Commercial General Liability and Litigation, and strong communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities. Texas licensed adjuster eligibility is expected where applicable.

Formación

• BS/BA Degree required.
• Advanced studies or insurance designation preferred.
• At least 10+ years of directly related experience with Commercial General Liability and Litigation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required, as well as strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of multi-jurisdictional claims handling issues.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Candidates must have, or be able to promptly obtain, a Texas Independent Adjuster License.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret policy documents and contracts to determine coverage.
• Analyze coverage issues and adjudicate claims within authority.
• Lead roundtables and serve as a peer resource to team members.
• Manage, investigate, and resolve high-severity claims in General Liability and Casualty.
• Rely on litigation handling experience to resolve files and drive settlements.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information.
