Job summary

ERGO NEXT Insurance is seeking a motivated Express Claims Advocate focused on Commercial General Liability with a remote work arrangement across the United States. You will investigate, resolve, and manage claims within authority, emphasizing fast, fair outcomes while upholding ERGO NEXT's claims philosophy.

You must have 2+ years of claims handling experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a Texas Independent Adjuster License or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of claims handling experience including coverage and liability.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Strong customer service skills with empathy.
• Mac literacy (Google and Microsoft familiarity).
• Bachelor's degree required; license or ability to obtain Texas Independent Adjuster License.

Responsibilities

• Manage, investigate, and resolve commercial general liability property damage claims, including evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and settlements within authority.
• Recommend ultimate resolution on cases beyond authority to local claims management.
• Evaluate coverage based on claim report, policy, investigation, and applicable law.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and advise on proper action.
• Respond to written and telephone inquiries including status reports.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards; meet performance goals.
• Manage a high volume of claims with varying complexity while maintaining quality.
