Job summary
FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician to join our Austin team. You will perform maintenance and repair on air-cooled and centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and related equipment on customer sites.
The ideal candidate holds an active EPA certification, OSHA 10, a valid driver's license, and 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience. You will diagnose, repair, install, and commission systems while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Active EPA Certification required.
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience with chillers.
- Valid Driver License with clean record.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on commercial HVAC chillers and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
- Inspect and test system components for proper operation and efficiency.
- Assist in installing and commissioning chiller systems.
- Prepare detailed service reports for customers.
