ACIS, Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in commercial facilities, healthcare, and data centers.

The role requires experience with centrifugal chillers and large tonnage units, with the ability to read wiring diagrams and work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor with clients. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of commercial HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, EPA Universal, and Texas registrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Associate's degree, or equivalent experience and training.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current EPA Universal.
• Texas ACR Registered.
• Current Texas TDLR Registration.
• Provide basic hand tools, i.e. gauges, meter(s), screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
• Actively seek training, coaching, and expand knowledge of the industry.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment on commercial buildings.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams.
• Work independently with professional demeanor and courteous client communication.
• Coordinate with Account Managers and Service Coordinator for parts, subcontractors, and labor.
• Arrange and communicate daily schedule with Service Coordinator.
• Coordinate and maintain company-issued tools and equipment.
• Complete accurate timecards, service activities, and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with team to proactively address client problems.
• Articulate diagnostics and resolutions to clients and team.
