FirstCall Mechanical seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician in Asheville, NC. The candidate will join a fast-growing team, performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on air‑cooled and centrifugal chillers, pumps, towers, and AHUs.

Active EPA certification and a positive, customer‑facing approach are required. The role emphasizes on-site service, safety compliance, and collaboration with account managers to deliver reliable performance and energy efficiency for

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License w/acceptable driving record.
• Active EPA Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting with Chillers.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Technical training in HVAC or Refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC systems including air‑cooled/chiller systems, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, valves, VAV systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Inspect and test system components for operation, efficiency and code compliance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
• Assist in installing, retrofitting, and commissioning of chillers and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to assess HVAC systems.
