Kemper Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Commercial Casualty Adjuster – Represented to investigate, evaluate and negotiate bodily injury and uninsured motorist vehicle claims with high complexity. You will analyze policy language, determine coverage and reserves, and negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants and attorneys.

This role requires independent work and collaboration with teammates. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and at least three years of casualty claim

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years casualty claim experience in auto insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
• Must obtain and maintain state licensing where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Investigate claims of varying complexity, including policy language and limits, and bodily injury claims.
• Develop strategy to identify and resolve coverage, liability, injury, and property damage.
• Examine provisions and endorsements to verify coverage and make financial decisions within authority.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies with insureds, claimants, attorneys and others.
• Attend depositions/mediation/arbitration/pre-trials/trials as needed.
• Document progression of each claim and set bodily injury reserves.
