Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years casualty claims experience in auto insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Licensing as required by state where applicable; strong judgement and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims by policy language, limits, and bodily injury.
• Develop strategy to resolve coverage, liability, injury, and property damage.
• Review policy provisions and endorsements to verify coverage and reserve decisions.
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and others.
• Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials when needed.
• Document claim progression and set bodily injury reserves.
