Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines in a hybrid role. You will provide administrative and customer service support to the account team and assist in maintaining policy accuracy, renewals, and client communications.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing is required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, invoices, and certificates.
• Support new and renewal business: conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, bind coverage, and follow up for policy issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor reports for delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
