Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide high-level administrative and customer service support to the account team. This role focuses on renewing policies, processing endorsements, preparing submissions, and ensuring accurate data across carrier platforms.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance client service, solid knowledge of brokerage needs, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
• Monitor policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing items.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, and present proposals.
• Review contracts for proper coverages and manage delinquent accounts.
• Maintain agency management systems and ensure data accuracy.
