Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager to manage and support a portfolio of middle-market commercial insurance accounts. Responsibilities
- Advise and consult clients regarding commercial insurance coverage needs and risk management strategies.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and coordinate account servicing activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while partnering with sales and service teams to support client retention and account growth.
- Review policies, endorsements, proposals, and other insurance documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the marketing and quoting of new and renewal business.
- Evaluate coverage options and work with insurance carriers to secure appropriate terms for clients.
- Coordinate account workflows and delegate responsibilities as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Support special projects and collaborate with commercial lines leadership on departmental initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and complete client and policy information within agency management software.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience within an agency environment, preferably supporting middle-market accounts.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience reviewing policies, endorsements, proposals, and related insurance documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to effectively coordinate and delegate account servicing responsibilities.
- Experience with EPIC or similar agency management software.
- Strong mathematical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong client and carrier relationships.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 + bonus opportunities
