Job summary

Fts Inc. is seeking a Collections Analyst to identify, research, and recover outstanding payments while keeping account records accurate. You will review aging reports, prioritize collection efforts, contact organizations about open balances, and drive accounts to timely resolution.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in collections, strong communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple accounts. Experience in audit-related areas is a plus.

• Research discrepancies and resolve account issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting/financial systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to prioritize collection activity
• Contact customers and organizations by phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve outstanding balances
• Manage follow-ups on established 30-, 60-, and 90-day schedules
• Research payment discrepancies, investigate account issues, and coordinate resolutions
• Track collection activity, payment commitments, and account status
• Answer incoming customer calls and route inquiries to the right departments
• Process payments and maintain accurate account documentation
• Support audit compliance by organizing documentation and working with internal teams
• Review audit findings and help identify outstanding or underpaid amounts
• Keep detailed records of collection efforts, payment activity, and account resolutions
