Job summary

Luminare Health Benefits Inc. seeks a Senior COBRA Analyst to manage COBRA administration for high complexity clients, employee COBRA benefits, FMLA, retirees, and LOA.

The role includes monthly closing tasks, rate entry, and database maintenance while handling federal/state inquiries. Responsibilities cover renewal analysis, rate input, client setup, and compliance coordination with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years COBRA, FMLA, LOA and retiree administration/coordination experience.
• Experience with COBRA EAS & PowerStepp preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state leave programs and COBRA regulations.
• Strong Excel, Word, Outlook skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage COBRA administration for high complexity clients and their employees.
• Handle monthly and off-cycle refunds, ACH forms, and premium billing.
• Enter renewal rates and new client rates with vendor setup.
• Coordinate COBRA implementation for new and terminated clients.
• Maintain COBRA database integrity and generate reports.
• Respond to inquiries from compliance and vendors; ensure PHI privacy.
• Produce daily balancing sheets and maintain documentation.
