Job summary

Univera HealthCare seeks a COBRA & Premium Billing Administrator to respond to inquiries from clients and subscribers, coordinating COBRA and premium billing activities to meet regulatory deadlines and standards.

The role supports client teams, processes enrollments and payments, and collaborates with the LBS EDI team to resolve file issues. Strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Two or more years of related experience.
• Knowledge of COBRA rules and regulations preferred.
• General understanding of medical, dental, vision, and Medicare benefits.
• Excellent problem solving, reasoning, and organizational skills.
• PC experience including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively while collaborating with clients.

Responsibilities

• Responds to client/broker inquiries and supports daily operational tasks.
• Processes member refunds, enrollment changes, and payment requests.
• Monitors grace periods and reports on payment status.
• Supports webinar demonstrations and client training of software.
• Manages the rate renewal process for assigned clients.
• Collaborates with carriers and vendors to resolve file issues.
• Assists in testing new client files and ongoing training.
