Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Visual COBOL V9+ in architecture and programming.
- 10+ years in system analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation for new or modified systems.
- 10+ years delivering complex COBOL-based applications in a Windows client-server environment.
- 10+ years leading a software development team in planning and deployment.
- 10+ years coding and testing COBOL systems with Oracle SQL in a Windows environment.
- 10+ years providing Level 3 production support.
- 10+ years serving as primary liaison with business units to define and review specifications.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the Phoenix system and tickets for development or modification.
- Lead analysis and propose solutions for tickets/projects.
- Translate business specs into technical specs and secure sign-off.
- Code, test, promote, and ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
- Provide production support for the Phoenix system.
- Report daily/weekly status to management and analysts.
