Job summary

InfoLabs inc in Columbia, SC is seeking a Senior COBOL Developer and Team Lead. This is a fully onsite, long-term W2 contract with no remote work, requiring you to reside in SC, NC, or GA as specified in the posting.

You will lead tickets, architect solutions, and collaborate with business units to define both business and technical specifications. You will mentor the development team, provide Level 3 production support, and drive COBOL projects from analysis through testing and promotion,

Qualifications

10+ years of COBOL development with hands-on Micro Focus experience (Visual COBOL, Enterprise Server, Net Express, or AcuCOBOL).
Experience leading a technical development team and working with business units on specifications.
Proven ability to analyze complex, mission-critical Windows client-server applications.

Responsibilities

Analyze the core business system and tickets; lead on proposed solutions and implement them end-to-end.
Collaborate with business units to define business and technical specifications, code, test and promote changes.
Provide Level 3 production support and mentor developers on the team; report status to management and analysts.
