Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician Specialist, Auto Repair to perform complex installation, maintenance, and repair of fleet vehicles and CNG equipment.

The role requires CDL with Hazmat preferred, ASE certifications, and hands-on experience with automotive engines, CNG systems, welding, and electrical controls. You will schedule maintenance, track parts, and ensure safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and relevant auto repair training.
• Experience with automotive engines and CNG systems is required.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical work on vehicles and equipment, including CNG systems.
• Refueling/compressor stations maintenance and operation.
• Mentor fleet mechanics on CNG conversions and maintenance.
• Track and order parts to support repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain safe, organized work environments and clean bays.
• Prepare maintenance records, work orders, and reports.
