Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled CNC Swiss Set Up Operator III with extensive experience on Swiss-style turning platforms. The role requires advanced expertise in tooling setup, machining processes, and troubleshooting to consistently deliver high-quality parts in a fast-paced, precision-focused shop environment.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, programming from drawings, developing toolpaths using CAM software (Esprit, PartMaker) or manual methods,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines.
• Expertise in G-code and M-code, and CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines for production runs.
• Develop CNC programs from drawings and specs.
• Program using CAM software or manual methods to create toolpaths.
• Run tests, verify programs, and measure parts.
• Monitor processes and adjust for quality and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
• Train and mentor junior operators.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure safety.
