Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a CNC Swiss Set Up Operator III in Massachusetts to lead setup and operation of Swiss-style CNC turning platforms. You will interpret drawings, program toolpaths, run tests, and optimize processes in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CNC Swiss experience, strong G-code/M-code knowledge, and proficiency with Esprit or PartMaker CAM software. Onsite role with comprehensive total compensation and safety focus.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines in a manufacturing environment (implied in description)
Expertise in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) and CAM software
Strong knowledge of Swiss machining processes, tooling, materials, and tolerances
Ability to interpret complex drawings and technical specifications
Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and safety adherence

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines for production runs and select tooling
Interpret drawings to develop CNC programs for Swiss operations
Program CNC Swiss machines using CAM software or manual methods to create toolpaths
Perform test runs, verify program accuracy, and measure outcomes
Monitor processes; adjust for quality and schedule adherence
Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize performance
Collaborate with teams to identify process improvements
Train and mentor junior CNC operators on setup, operation, and programming
Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks
Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements
