CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a CNC Swiss Set Up Operator I to set up and operate CNC Swiss machines, producing precision parts per specifications. The role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a readiness to learn CNC programming and process improvements.

The successful candidate will work onsite, participate in a safety-first environment, and contribute to high-quality production while developing new skills in machining and tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to learn and follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Willingness to learn CNC machining and programming.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup of CNC Swiss machines for production runs, loading materials, securing workpieces, and installing tooling.
• Learn to interpret drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce parts with tight tolerances and complex geometries.
• Learn basic CNC programming: input tool offsets, adjust settings, perform minor edits.
• Perform basic maintenance: clean, lubricate, and replace worn components.
• Monitor processes and adjust as directed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect parts with precision instruments to verify conformance.
• Assist in troubleshooting and identify process improvements.
• Adhere to safety protocols in operation and handling of CNC equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area for safety and productivity.
