Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Massachusetts is seeking a CNC Swiss Set Up Operator I responsible for setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines to produce precision components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities include machine setup for production runs, interpreting drawings, operating machines with tight tolerances, learning basic CNC programming for tool

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or machining is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup of CNC Swiss machines for production runs and secure workpieces.
• Learn to interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
• Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce parts with tight tolerances and complex geometries.
• Learn basic CNC programming skills for tool offsets and minor edits.
• Perform basic maintenance on CNC Swiss machines and keep area clean and organized.
