Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions seeks a CNC Swiss Set Up Operator I to set up and operate CNC Swiss machines, producing precision components per specifications. The candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new CNC skills.

Typical duties include assisting machine setup, interpreting drawings, running parts with tight tolerances, performing minor program edits, and maintaining and inspecting equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical cert preferred.
• Willingness to learn CNC machining and programming.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with manual dexterity.
• Teamwork and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup of CNC Swiss machines for production runs.
• Learn to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce precision parts.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and clean/inspect equipment.
• Input tool offsets and perform minor program edits as directed.
• Monitor processes and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Inspect parts with precision instruments for conformance.
• Support troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep work area organized.
• Maintain a safe, efficient working environment.
