Job summary

UTP Solutions in Evart, MI is seeking a senior CNC Swiss Programmer/Operator to run production on Tsugami Fanuc-controlled multi-axis lathes, from blueprint to first-article-approved part.

You will mentor machinists, collaborate with Plant Manager, Tooling, and Quality, and own setup, process optimization, and in-process inspection to meet stringent medical/defense/aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven CNC Swiss machining experience.
• Experience programming and operating Tsugami machines with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Experience in regulated medical device, aerospace, or defense environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss lathes to blueprint specifications.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspection.
• Mentor other machinists as Swiss/CNC program grows.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager, Tooling, and Quality teams to optimize processes.
