Job summary

Able Medical Devices is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with a focus on Tsugami Swiss Lathe programming to support production and prototyping of medical device implants and instruments. You will program, set up, simulate, and optimize machining processes, ensuring conformance to GD&T specs and quality controls.

You will collaborate with Engineering to improve manufacturability and lead lean practices, with emphasis on efficiency, tool management, and process documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as CNC Programmer for medical devices implants and instruments.
• Thorough understanding of production and product development regulations and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Program and produce production and prototype parts using CNC equipment.
• Manage CNC programs, tooling and fixturing inventories.
• Document process sheets and inspection procedures.
• Collaborate with Development Engineering to optimize manufacturability.
• Perform precision measuring and inspection using gaging tools.
• Lead 5S in the work area and ensure safe, orderly production.
