Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Greenville, SC is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer for 2nd shift to support large-format energy equipment. You will generate and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM on high‑end machines, and work with Vericut simulations.

You will lead process development, mentor operators, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with graphical-based CAM system CNC programming.
• Strong CNC programming experience using Siemens NX CAM (highly preferred).
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and shop math skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and optimize CNC programs using NX CAM.
• Develop machining processes for large-format equipment (2m+ VTLs/VBMs).
• Create programs with multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and EDM operations.
• Establish machining strategies meeting quality, safety, and productivity requirements.
