Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer in Greenville, SC for a first-shift, 100% onsite role. You will develop and optimize complex CNC programs for large-format aerospace and industrial machining, focusing on 5-axis operations, CAM programming, and process improvement.

The position requires 4+ years with CAM software, strong problem-solving, and the ability to interpret drawings. Expect collaboration with engineers, machinists, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of graphical CAM system CNC programming experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills for shop environments.
• Effective communication in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM.
• Develop programs for large VTLs, VBMs, 5-axis machining centers.
• Program 3+2, 5-axis milling, turning, grinding, and EDM processes.
• Verify CNC programs with Vericut before shop release.
• Implement Renishaw probing cycles for validation and error trapping.
• Lead continuous improvement and support tooling, fixturing, and machine processes.
