Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CNC Programmer – Level 4/5 (2nd shift) to join our Texas-based manufacturing team. This role requires deep expertise in NX CAD/CAM/CAE, NC simulations, and programming for multi-axis mills and lathes.

You will collaborate with machinists and engineering to optimize tooling, setup, and production flow to hit aggressive output targets. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC programming experience, including graphite electrode programming, and a solid track record of improving

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC programming experience (including NX).
• Experience with graphite electrode programming.
• Experience with multi-axis mill and lathe CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC parts using NX CAD/CAM/CAE.
• Run NC simulations and maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets.
• Adjust speed/feeds for tool life and manufacturability improvements.
• Fixture tooling as directed by process sheets and production needs.
• Setup and operate CNC machines to meet productivity goals.
