GE Vernova in the United States is seeking a dynamic engineer to update manufacturing processes, focusing on stability, cycle reduction and safety. The role collaborates with design, quality and production teams to bring Lean, agile solutions using CNC machining centers and CAD/CAM tools to produce critical infrastructure components.

The position requires a Bachelors degree in engineering (or equivalent) and CNC experience, with a Fri-Sun 6am to 6:30pm shift.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor2s degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience)
• At least 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations
• At least 1 year of CNC experience (Programming preferred)
• Must be willing and able to work shift Fri- Sun 6am- 630pm.

Aufgaben

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost priorities.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters and with minimal guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Regular participation in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Support CNC processes.
