Job summary

Default Brand seeks a CNC Programmer / Machinist to support machine shop operations, program parts using CAM software, and optimize tooling and methods for efficiency. You will collaborate with machinists, engineering, routing, and the shop manager to ensure on-time, cost-effective production.

Responsibilities include creating and updating CAM programs, selecting tooling, and expediting programming to meet delivery dates while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Five years of manufacturing experience with machining and CNC/CAM programming preferred.
• Two-year degree in Machining or CAD/CAM preferred.
• SolidWorks CAD experience and CAMWorks experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees programming of machined parts at optimal cost.
• Creates CNC programs using CAM software.
• Maintains setup sheets and coordinates CAM changes with machinists.
• Supports expediting programming to meet delivery due dates.
• Ensures safe, quality-oriented production and maintains clean work areas.
