Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist to program, optimize, and manufacture parts using CAM software.

You will collaborate with Machinists, Engineering, Scheduling and management to ensure cost-effective, timely production of high-quality components. Ideal candidates have at least five years in manufacturing, a two-year degree in Machining or CAD/CAM, and strong experience with CAMWorks and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in manufacturing with machining and CNC/CAM programming.
• Two-year degree in Machining or CAD/CAM preferred.
• Experience with CAMWorks and CAD/CAM software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Program and oversee machined parts at optimal cost.
• Create CNC programs using CAM software for the Machine Shop.
• Select materials and tools; coordinate with Purchasing for special parts.
• Recommend tooling purchases to improve efficiency.
• Adjust programs to reduce machining time and optimize tool life.
• Maintain setup sheets and document changes.
• Work with Scheduler and Engineering on design changes to improve manufacturability.
• Ensure safe, quality-oriented, on-time production of parts.
