Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can create and optimize programs for our state-of-the-art CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit CNC programs for mills and/or lathes using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models to determine programming requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates to maximize efficiency and part quality.
• Perform machine setup and conduct initial test runs to verify the accuracy of new programs.
• Troubleshoot and debug programs to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Ensure all programs adhere to company safety standards and quality control protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer.
• Strong proficiency in CAM software and G-code programming.
• Expertise in interpreting blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and technical specifications.
• Solid understanding of CNC machine operation and tooling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• A technical degree or certification in machining, CNC programming, or a related field is a plus.
