Job summary

Raso360 seeks an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to support CNC programming, machining operations, and daily production activities. The ideal candidate will have strong Mastercam and SolidWorks CAD/CAM experience, plus expertise with milling, lathes, and mill-turn machines. Excellent blueprint reading and team leadership are essential.

You will help lead the team, ensure safety and quality, and maintain accurate CNC data and documentation while solving programming issues to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years machining experience.
• 5+ years CAD/CAM experience, preferably Mastercam and SolidWorks.
• Strong CNC programming with milling, lathes, and/or mill-turn machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and engineering specs.
• Knowledge of standard and metric measurements and tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and improve CNC programs for 4- and 5-axis machines, lathes, and mill-turn equipment.
• Use Mastercam and SolidWorks for CNC programming and design.
• Review blueprints and specs to determine tooling, feeds, speeds, and machine requirements.
• Select cutters, tooling, and fixtures.
• Prepare setup instructions and production documentation.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and machining issues to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Guide team members and promote safe, efficient work practices.
• Maintain CNC data and documentation.
• Follow all safety and production procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
